Skill Level
Most jobs in this unit group require a “bachelor’s degree” or higher qualification. In other cases, “five years of applicable experience” or equivalent qualification can substitute for the formal qualification. For a few jobs, appropriate experience and/or in-course training, along with the formal qualification necessary (ANZSCO Skill Level 1), could also be necessary.
English Requirement
In order to qualify for a visa, applicants must demonstrate English proficiency in one of the following tests:
IELTS: At least 6 in Writing, Listening, and Reading; 7 in Speaking; and 7 overall.
OET: At least grade B in all categories.
TOEFL iBT: At least 12 in Listening, 13 in Reading, 21 in Writing, 23 in Speaking, and overall score of 93.
