    Most occupations in this unit group require a degree in electronics engineering or a related discipline. Five years of industry experience may, in some cases, be utilized as a substitute for a formal qualification.     English Requirement

    In order to qualify for a visa, applicants must demonstrate English proficiency in one of the following tests:

    Conduct performance testing, debugging, and quality assurance of electronic devices and systems.

    Create compliance with industry standards and regulations for electronic products and systems.
    Oversee electronics engineering projects from research and design, through prototyping and production.
    Work with software developers, mechanical engineers, and other specialists to create integrated technology solutions.
    Develop novel electronic technologies and improve existing systems for increased efficiency, performance, and miniaturization.
